| Louisville, who enters the AP Top 25 at #24 this week, leads two new teams in the poll. Florida State rises the most for the week, hopping six spots to #15.
Kentucky remains number one for the second straight week. Louisville breaks into the Top 25 with a win at home over Rutgers, 78-66. Harvard comes in at #25 with wins against Columbia, 57-52 and Cornell, 71-60. Gonzaga falls out of the rankings this week with an upset loss at Brigham Young, 83-73 and a win at Pepperdine, 72-60. Vanderbilt drops out after losses to then-12th ranked Florida, 73-65 and Arkansas, 82-74.
Florida State got a big boost this week, soaring six spots to #15 after a win at home over Georgia Tech, 68-54 and an upset win at home over then-16th ranked Virginia, 58-55. Creighton tanked four spots to #17 after a win against Illinois State, 102-74 and a loss to Northern Iowa, 65-62. Florida jumped up 4 spots to #8 after wins against then-25th ranked Vanderbilt and South Carolina, 74-66.
